Favorite Books

Hi my name is Sloan. Here are my three favorite books and the reasons why I like them.

. The Outsiders
I find this book my favorite because it seems to have a real moral to it. When I read this I seemed to be glued to the book. The story has a way to show you that giving someone a second chance can mean everything to them and makes them forever grateful. I would recommend this book to people 10 and up.

. Cinder
Cinder is a wonderful story twisted from the classic fairytale Cinderella. Cinder is one of the first books that I read which has real substance that took place in the future. It really is amazing in its own way and clever too. I would recommend this to people 11-25.

. The Maze Runner
This book really seems to be cleverly written. There is a plot goes at a good pace and has good character development. There is much creativity in the story and unexpected plot twists. I woull recommend this book to ages 10-17.

  2. Sloan,
I am interested in reading The Maze Runner; it sounds like an intriguing dystopian novel. Also, have you read Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine? It is another adaption of Cinderella and one of my personal favorite books.

  3. Sloan, I also love "The Outsiders" and always enjoy leading in a book group. You are yet another person who has recommended Maze Runner so I have just put that on my TBR List. Thanks for the great recommendations.

  4. Last year I started to read The outsiders, but Tari asked me to stop because it was a book group book. I would like to finish it because what I read was very good.

  5. I really like how you presented your list. You have very effective descriptions of each book that capture the feeling of the story without giving it away.
